This is an incredibly rare piece of motorcycle history. Harley-Davidson originally created the servi-car in 1932 for the automotive industry and ultimately, they were used by police and fire departments. They started to manufacture them for civilian use and this is a prime example with a locking fiberglass box on the rear. It has a suicide 3-speed shifter with reverse and is powered by a 740 ccm (45.15 CI) flathead motor. It was completely restored including a rebuilt motor and transmission approximately 15 years ago. The elderly gentleman I purchased it from had bought it for his wife to ride alongside him. She only road it a little and decided it wasn’t for her so the bike sat in their heated garage for more than 14 years. I went through and drained and flushed the fuel system, all fluids, new battery and tuned it up with a proper start cycle. It runs and drives perfectly with everything in working condition.
